Attracting quality security personnel is a critical component to providing quality security services. Accordingly, we use different forums to attract the best people. We regularly advertise in local newspapers, along with using our wide network of contacts in the military, and other law enforcement agencies to refer suitable personnel to us. We also offer very competitive wages and benefits in order to attract and retain the people we hire.
Background screening of prospective security personnel is one of the most tedious, but significant tasks in recruitment. Therefore, before recruiting any person, we conduct a wide-ranging selection of background checks, such as verification of educational certificate, verification of service in the armed forces, verification of any other previous employers, verification of any criminal record and of any address verification etc.

The following is the eligibility criteria we adopt for recruitment:
  • The selected guards should be ex-servicemen form armed forces, scouts and frontier constabulary with exemplary / good character.
  • Be able bodied, medically fit and category –A.

Training

Training is something that each and every security personnel provided by ZIMS must undertake. The approach taken by ZIMS in this regard is very dynamic, and distinct from other security providers operating in Pakistan. This is because ZIMS has a wide network of training schools operating in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad etc. A qualified Manager training manages each training school and has the responsibility of ensuring that the training objectives of ZIMS, and its training approach is followed and complied with precision.

Our Training Methodology

During our training sessions, we train our security personnel by using different hypothetical scenarios and getting their response to them. In this way, we are able to train them to take the most appropriate course of action, and at the same time, boost their confidence to deal with such situations.
More so, our security personnel are also taken to firing ranges to target practice and conduct field exercises, in which different live situations are simulated. These include different simulations such as, where an attempt on a VIP’s life is made, or where a hostage situation has taken place etc.
